ABOUT

I’ve been working as a design professional for just shy of two decades, primarily based in South Florida occasionally traveling to New York for work.

I began my career during my senior year at Florida Atlantic University,  taking a full-time position
as designer and photo retoucher at a large media company then known as Globe Communications. It was subsequently sold and later became part of an even larger publishing company, American Media, where my career continued.

American Media has been home to various print
and digital brands including Shape, Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness His / Hers, Flex, Fit Pregnancy, Your Heath, Star, The National Enquirer, Globe, Radar Online & more.

Over my near 20-year stretch at the company, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many of these titles and countless other special projects and redesigns, both big and small, beginning as an entry level designer and eventually working my way up to group creative director of the Boca Raton headquarters.

I’ve had the good fortune of working with some incredibly talented editors, writers and designers, gaining invaluable experience producing work for print and digital mediums. I’m passionate about bold, simple, engaging and well-crafted content that produces genuine results – with a skill set spanning design, branding, writing and art direction.

Outside of my working life, my interests include art, architecture, industrial and furniture design, film, fashion, photography, comedy and music.

I’m a multi-instrumentalist who writes and produces music in the rare occasion I have some spare time! I also enjoy the outdoors and am a fitness enthusiast, indulging in cycling or running whenever I can.

Another note that may be of relevance is that I’ve spent at least 10 years living in Europe, studying in Germany for much of my young adulthood.
I am fluent in English and German.
